The charter includes the services of a professional skipper and crew, gourmet luncheon (see sample menu choices), traditional English afternoon tea, unlimited Bollinger, Pimm’s, quality French wines and mineral water. Parties of 8 passengers can be accommodated at any one time.
A typical day at Cowes Week might be:
- Embarkation, welcome and safety briefing before heading off towards Cowes Roads and the start line at the Royal Yacht Squadron
- Follow the boats around the course accompanied by a glass of Bollinger, or Pimm’s and a canapé or three
- Anchor for lunch in the quiet of the Beaulieu River, designated an “area of outstanding natural beauty”
- If you have opted to include one or both of our support boats in your programme, (Sunseeker Portofino 32 with 230hp turbo diesels, will cruise at 35 knots, or Revenger 29 RIB with 300hp turbo diesel capable of 50 knots), experience the racing “up close and personal” for an hour or so
- Otherwise, pass a more leisurely afternoon at anchor soaking up the sun
- Traditional English tea will be served at 4 o’clock
- Return to Cowes Roads to watch the winners power through the finish line
- Disembarkation and farewell
